On auction here is a set of two South African R1 banknotes. They have consecutive numbers and are crisp Uncirculated. Printed in 1973 and signed by Mr. T.W. de Jongh, the Governor of the South African Reserve Bank at that time and bearing the numbers B32 075903 and /04. The 2 notes are of the English over Afrikaans variety.
The two One Rand notes on offer form one lot and the photos are of the actual notes the winning bidder will receive.
I endeavor to keep prices at a reasonable level. Bidders must please look at the two notes and decide for themselves if my assessment of the condition is correct. Please note that I am not an adept at grading banknotes. Fortunately Crisp Uncirculated notes grade themselves. But the buyer can return the notes if they are not what you were bidding for. Any dissatisfied customer must please state reasons for wishing to return items and where possible give photographic proof. Shipping of returned notes is the responsibility of the buyer.
Thanks for looking and interest. Enjoy your bidorbuying!
