A vintage SAR/miners carbide lamp. This old lamp has a brass label with " Reg. no. 878136 Formerly 686127 - Fill to this mark" on it. It has another "The Prepter Lamp - made in England, Crestella, Leeds. The label to signify if it is SAR or mines is missing. The lamp is complete with all the working parts. It has rust, and the wooden handle is cracked. However, a lovely display item.
