Offered on this auction is these 2 Royal Doulton Side Plates.
They are designed by Frank Brangwyn and are decorated in mustard yellow, dark and light green, on a mottled cream or beige, and green ground. These items are hand painted and are not identical.
They are marked under their base with “Royal Doulton, England", and "Designed by F Brangwyn R.D., D?". These marks date the item to between 1930 and 1942.
The Plates are 16.7 cm in diameter and stand 1.6 cm high.
They are in Very Good Condition.
There are no chips, cracks or restorations (see photos).
There is some crazing.
The colours are full bodied.
