The exterior of the product is solid 9ct gold and everything you can see or touch is a solid layer of 9ct gold. This is why (with proper care) it will never tarnish, chip or wear off. The gold layer on Gold Plated jewellery is approximately 7 times thicker than that of Accessory jewellery once bonded with heat and pressure.
