Up for sale is a, JAGUAR 2.4 LITRE SALOON IN ORIGINAL BOX by Corgi Toys, No 208M. Rare.

This is the Mechanical Motor version, all Corgi models with the Mechanical Motor were withdrawn in 1959.
The model is in a very good condition for its age. It seems as though it might have been repainted at some time, as there is white paint present underneath the blue paint. Though the baseplate rivets seem original. There are some scratches and slight paint chips present. On the inside of the windows it's a little grubby.
Scale is 1:47
Base says: CORGI TOYS. BRITISH MADE. JAGUAR 2.4 LITRE. PATENT PENDING. The blemishes you see on the model are light reflections.
The box is also in a good condition for its age, it has all the flaps and the colours are still bright. It has some creasing and crushing. On the inside of one of the main flaps there is a number "8" stamp. There is some rubbing along the corners. There is a price written on one main flap in pencil. The box alone is already valuable.
Not suitable for small children.
