SADF-Army-Trip Wire/Booby Trap Necessities
1 x Roll unused steel trip wire, Safety tag & “Pull switch” for cap or detonator. Circa 1968.
The cap which screws into the device has small claws on the inside to hold safety fuse but normally if this device was used in a booby trap it would hold cortex which would detonate due to the blast cap and then set of the main charge. This device would be known as a "trek meganisme" or pulling device. A fine piece of line better known as trip wire would be attached to the pin which holds the firing mechanism. One this pin is pulled out by a person tripping or walking into the trip wire it sets the device off. These devices were still used by the South African Defence Force during the bush/border-war in the 80’s. Very good UN-used condition as per picture's. Images are of the actual item/s on offer. Parcels are sent via SAPO, counter to counter within South Africa.

I pack very well, however I will NOT be held responsible for breakages or loss of items once the goods have been shipped. The Seller accepts no responsibility and is hereby indemnified against any loss or damage to items, after a parcel has been handed in at SAPO or to a courier for shipping.
