FROM MY HOUSEHOLD

FABULOUS VINTAGE ORIENTAL LAMP WITH 2 SHADES - working

Such an interesting lamp. An oriental lady, in a long kimono, adorned with birds and other treasures and hand painted. In some sort of resin, she stands upon a pedestal and then on a wooden base board painted white. The back rod is in steel and made to resemble a street lantern. It ends with the two arms of the white glass lamp shades. At the top of this rod is a white plastic cap which hides the wires for the lamp shades. At the base there are 2 roses made out of Plaster of Paris.

height 57cm, width 44cm - heavy & large

Condition: Very good. A couple of minor issues though. The oriental lady is excellent. The 2 roses have got chips and breaks, but since these are made with Plaster of Paris, fairly easy to restore. The cap to the wires needs to be re-painted as does the area where the wires protrude from. Both jobs easy enough. I have had this for a few years but it is much older.

For COLLECTION ONLY from Fairland Jhb, and because some petty person reported my collection fee and because apparently it's not allowed, who knew? yet a million people do it, I will now be charging a storage fee from day 1. R25-00 on day 1 and R5-00 per day per item from day 8 if not collected in a week. No exceptions, no lenience like before.

Please do not bid if you cannot collect this, I cannot post it.
