This item has the words DOVO, and MADE IN HOLLAND on the bottom of the kettle. There are items similar to this but with enamel paintings on it, and it is described as Pewter. I believe that this item is a mixture of pewter and other white metals.
It is in a perfect condition.
On the lid there is an engraving showing that this was given to parents in 1961, so it is over 50 years old.
The burner has never had paraffin in it and the wick is unburnt. This was used as a display item for many years.
Size 380 mm high x 200 mm maximum front to back measurement. Weight 1250 grams.
