| DESCRIPTION | I do not think that anybody would actually use this BEAUTIFUL AND CLASSY 7 - PIECE BOHEMIAN CUT GLASS WITH 22 CARAT GOLD OVERLAY DESSERT SERVING SET. Surely one would be to scared that one of the pieces would get broken or chipped. I am sure that the previous owner never used it, but kept it securely behind glass in the display cabinet - because it is in immaculate 'as new' condition in spite of the fact that it is 50 to 60 years old. There is a serving bowl and 6 little bowls for individual portions. Every item is made of the same lovely transluscent even coloured light green glass with 22 carat gold overlay decoration on the sides and top rim. Furthermore each piece is decorated with hand cut decoration on the sides, three lovely applied feet and sandblast decor along the bottom bend. Each individual portion bowl looks identical in shape and decoration to the large serving bowl, but they are only smaller. This set was made in the 1950s / 60s and they just do not make sets of this quality any more. The large serving bowl has a top rim diameter of 33 cm and stands 10 cm high and each small bowl has a top rim diameter of 11 cm and stands 6 cm high. | CONDITION | The images do not do justice to this lovely set because of much reflection. It is in absolute pristine condition with no chips, rubbing to the gold decorations or any other damage or imperfections. |
| A really lovely Bohemian glass set. Sets of this quality are no longer produced and are very collectable. If you collect glass, do not let this item go by. You will not easily find a complete set in this condition on auction again anywhere in the world. |
