Antique Oil/Kerosene Table Lamp - Miller (No 2)
- circa 1890's
This might be a no. 2 Miller's lamp, but I am not sure as the markings have faded quite a bit. The lamp is complete, included is the original frosted shade and glass smoke funnel. I do not think this is the original funnel as it's shape it quite modern. The original funnels had a gradual tapering towards the top. The surface of the lamp is nickel plated and show signs of light rust spots which could easily be removed with a good clean. All the attachments are in good working order. The clips are sturdy and the funnel fits well. The frosted shade has no chips or cracks.
The lamp may easily converted to work with electricity and an energy saving bulb
