I am offering on this auction this Teppaz Transit Portable Turntable.
This turntable was manufactured in 1969 in Lyon, France.
It plays 16, 33, 45 and 78 records.
It has two needles with a flip arm to access each needle.
This item is covered in red plaid material with cream coloured plastic trim.
The item is fully portable when closed. The lid contains the speaker and is attached to the turntable by a long wire.
This turntable takes 6 D batteries for power supply (batteries stack facing exit).
It weighs 2970 grams.
Its dimensions are 35 cm x 28 cm x 16 cm.
CONDITION.
Cosmetically: this item is Very Good for its age.
The plaid material is worn at places but not torn.
All plastic finishes are Very Good just a little dirty.
Mechanically: this item has not been tested as one battery contact is missing.
Two needles are present and the needle flip function is good.
When spinning the turntable it spins nicely but one can hear that the arm for the speed control touches its underside on various speeds. It will have to be reset.
This item is sold as is.
