Unusual piece in good condition
The piece is in good condition with no damage apart from two small non-structural cracks in the rear support (2nd image below). It is hardly visible and does not detract from the beauty of the piece.
The rear support is slightly loose but can easily be glued. After a good oiling the piece will really stand out!
The wood appears to be a type of Mahogany, but this is just a guess, so please have a look at the images to judge for yourself.
The stand measures 25cm tall x 18cm wide and 7.5cm from front to back. It has three divisions for letters, documents etc.
The origin and exact age of the piece is unknown. There are no maker's marks.
