ANTIQUE COPPER ELECTRIC KETTLE
BULPITT & SONS LTD - BIRMINGHAM - SWAN BRAND
The kettle is in good cosmetic condition with a few minor dents for character.
Swan Brand, made by Bulpitt & sons, Birmingham England, estimated 1950's.
The bakelite handle is undamaged and the interior has very little scaling.
It works on 220-230v with a 1000W element.
Note that the bakelite socket is broken so the element can not be screwed tight against the seal. We could not fill it with water to fully test it but it was switched on for a few seconds and the element did start to heat up. We can however not guarantee that it will function perfectly.
Even in a not working state, the kettle makes a great display piece and will look even better once polished!

The kettle has a height of 23cm including the handle and has a diameter of 16cm.
