Description
This Rare Antique Copeland Spode's Blue Italian One Pint Tankard/Extra Large Mug has the blue oval backstamp which was used between 1891 and 1970. I understand that these Tankards were made circa 1910 and it is rare to find antique tankards in such good condition.
Condition
The Tankard is very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration noted. There is a stray transfer mark on the inside and there are some light glaze scratches on the base around the backstamp which are mentioned for accuracy.
Dimensions
The Tankard measures 10.0 cm across the rim, 13.5 cm handle to rim and 10.0 cm in height. Full capacity is one pint, 560 ml.
