This is a classic Honda XL 200R (1983-1984) restoration project which I don't have time for to complete.
The bike has all its parts and the engine was running the last time I rode it, its been standing for a few years and to the best of my knowledge the following needs to be fixed or replaced in order to complete the project:
- Exhaust pipe (replace front section)
- Battery (replace)
- Front tyre (replace)
- Wheel bearings (replace optional)
- Oil seals on the outer oil covers (replace)
- Seat (replace)
- and overall refurbishment, paint and cosmetics
- all lights are present but some globes might need replacement
- the bike has papers, but I unlicensed it in order not to pay annual license fees while I was working on it.
You will have to arrange your own courier/transport, to be picked up in the Blouberg Cape town area.
