Historic Farms of South Africa: The Wool, The Wheat, and the Wine of the 17th and 18th Centuries by Dorothea Fairbridge is a rare Africana book. It includes interesting information about specific farms as well as lots of black and white drawings and photographs depicting the farms and various other aspects of their history.
A fascinating book for anyone interested in South African history!
The book itself is in very good condition but the dustjacket is very tatty, especially around the edges! This does not however detract from the appeal of the book! The first few pages have been embossed with the name of the owner.
Other copies of this book are listed from $150 to $950 on the internet so my book is very reasonably priced!!!!
