A Second World War German Wehrmacht aluminum water bottle, with correct bakelite drinking cup, felt cover  and tropical issue straps, as used by the D.A.K. in the dessert campaign. In astonishingly good condition, all stitching still intact, no fraying and only minor mothing to the cover, but no holes. Leather strap is still strong and all press studs are closed. Crisp manufacturer's marks to buckle and clip, the bottle neck and the cup. Year of manufacture was 1941. Tracked P&P is R40.00.
