DESCRIPTION:
A set of 'Lady' and 'Tramp' porcelain figurines from Set One of the original
Disney 'Lady and the Tramp' Hat Box range. This is the first version of Tramp.
In the second version he is seated, as the legs on the earlier version proved
fragile and easily broken. Like many Whimsies, the modeling and painting on
these earlier versions are better. Painted details may also differ, later
versions of Lady lack the distinctive blue collar and yellow name tag.
MARKS:
Stamped in blue: Wade England.
CONDITION:
Unfortunately, as mentioned above, it appears as if Tramp's leg has
been broken and re-glued and Lady has a firing crack to her belly.
DIMENSIONS:
Tramp approximately 5.5cm in height and Lady 4cm.
