Originally named for a key ingredient tiger bone, which was often used in traditional Chinese medicine dating back 1,500 years to treat pain and inflammation, Tiger Balm now consists purely of herbal ingredients. Tiger Balm is available in several varieties, the "cold" Tiger Balm White (recommended for use with headaches) and the "hot" Tiger Balm Red. Another version is called Tiger Balm Ultra.
