| DESCRIPTION | How lovely this oil painting of a beautiful Italian woman is. It is done by listed Italian artist Antonio Vallone on canvass on board. The artist signed this work at bottom left and has not dated it but it probably dates from the 1940s. The work is still framed in it's original period wooden frame with gilt / bronze colouring. It is of medium size and measures 47 x 37 cm and the artwork alone measures 38.5 x 29 cm. See the 4 images which follow for more detail and ask a question if you are unsure about anything. |
| CONDITION | The painting is in is in good condition and can be hung as is. There is only some insignificant rubbing to the frame which adds to the antiquity of this work rather than detracts from it. |
| A beautiful work done by a very competent artist in thickly applied bold strokes and with the additional use of the palette knife. It is worth researching this work on the Internet. I believe that it is not only very deserving of hanging in the home of a serious art collector, but is also a good investment piece. |
