Can't remember when to water your plants? Do you give them too much or too little water? Don’t worry anymore, Plant Pal helps you keep your plants well hydrated so they can grow and stay healthy. Not only does it make sure you give enough water but, just as importantly, it ensures that you don't give too much water (many people are surprised to learn that around 60% of house plants actually die because of OVERWATERING!). Our sophisticated automatic moisture meter is housed inside the body of the Plant Pal. Just position the moisture-sensing probes into the soil of your plant. The Plant Pal will constantly monitor the moisture content of the soil, and 'sing' if your plant needs water! It also measures the PH level of the soil and sings if your Plant needs fertilizer, compost or re-potting.
A sophisticated electronic moistue meter is housed inside the body of each Plant Pal to help you preventing over and under watering. Just position that moisure and PH sensing probes into the soil. A light sensor prevents the Plant Pal from singing at night. Plant Pal will constantly monitor the content od the soil, and "sing" if your plant needs water.

Plant Pal Start Up and Maintenance: Activating the Plant Pal: Remove the clear srtip located at the bottom rear of the bird to activate batteries. To stop singing, touch the probes together or place them in moist fertilized soil. Installing the Plant Pal: After inserting the Plant Pal probes into soil, wait a moment and it should stop singing. If it continues, water your plant soil. The light sensor ensures that the Plant Pal will not sing at night, but it will sing once every time it first sees light to tell you the batteries are still okay. Note: Plant Pal probes tips may require periodic cleaning with fine sandpaper or steel wool. For Fussy Plants: Adjust the depth of the probe in the soil since the moisture level trigger point will vary. Place probe tips deeper for dryer soil. Fertilizing: The Plant Pal is sensitive to the PH of the soil and can detect if the fertilizer is low. If the Plant Pal continues to sing after watering your plant, check the PH level of the soil. Average houseplants range between 3-8. Watering: Water only when your Plant Pal sings approximately every 15 seconds. Battery Testing and Replacement: To test the batteries remove the Plant Pal from the soil every couple of months, if it does not sing, remove the body from the rubber base, slide the batteries from the clip and replace with two new batteries, observing the polarity ("+" should face away from the circuit board)
