EXTREMELY RARE and Very COLLECTIBLE
Italian Water bottle of ww2
This particular water bottle is Very Scarce , as was given to Italian Air Force members ONLY.
As the information I was given :
A South African Soldier in the British Allied Forces , had taken this Bottle Off and Italian soldiers body and kept as a momento. (in Area of East Africa - Egypt ).
As time in the POW camps were very slow and Boring, this Soldier decided to document the War as he saw it..! onto the outer skin of the Water bottle. (engraving it)
The Front of Bottle :
a Monastery, amongst Palm Tree's, with pyramids and the sky with Stars , Moon and Clouds.
The Revers of Bottle :
Depicts a Sea War-ship Firing at many Air-craft... and them Burning and heading to Crash. One of the small planes that just took a Direct hit.. as seen in the engraving is a GERMAN Plane seen by the " + " Cross under the wings..
Higher-up in the skies ... Shows x2 Air Craft Dog-Fighting.
The centre air-craft is a Sunderlander royal air Force Amphibious Troop, Supplies, Equipment Carrier
These Engravings are typically done with the Pen-Knives given to ALL British Troops
