Some people draw with a computer, and some draw with a pen. If you draw with a computer you can print to a printer in both 2D and now also easily in 3D. That same freedom to move into the 3D space is now available for those who prefer to draw freehand with the Primes 3D Printer Pen.
The pen extrudes the same 1.75 mm filament through a 0.6 mm nozzle (ABS or PLA) and is a useful accessory for those with a 3D printer as not all prints are perfect, and some just need that little touch up to be how we wanted them to be. It is in the hands of a freehand artist that the pen really comes into its own. The pen has two extrusion speeds, so draw things flat and then stand the up, or use the slow extrusion setting to just draw things directly in 3D, your choice. It also has a reverse setting to allow you to easily change colour.
The pen runs from a 12 volt supply, and comes with a starter pack of a few meters of a number of colours of filament.
