I am offering a fabulous vase made by Keramos R. Capodimonte, Italy. This piece is vintage. Exact age unknown, but I believe it to be from the early to mid 1900's. This piece is large, see photos. There is a cherub decoration on the bowl. It is ivory trimmed in gold, which is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. The condition of this vase is excellent. This is a gorgeous piece!

Capo-di-Monte porcelain was first made in Naples, Italy, from 1743 to 1759. The factory moved near Madrid, Spain, reopened in 1771, and worked to 1821. Since that time, the Doccia factory of Italy acquired the molds and is using the crown and N mark. The Capo-di-Monte porcelain factory was founded after Charles of Bourbon married Maria Amelia of Saxony, whose grandfather founded the Meissen factory. Societa Ceramica Richard is a modern-day firm often referred to as Ginori or Capo-di-Monte. This company also uses the crown and N mark.

The majority of my listings are vintage estate pieces. Normal light scratches from normal use or storage may be present on some pieces. My inventory will never have chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, breaks or other flaws unless specifically and clearly called out in the listing description. I handle hundreds of pieces, so on the unlikely chance a flaw escapes my inspection, please contact me and I will correct the situation.
I often have items that are in mint condition: new, unused, or still in the original boxes. That will be noted in the item description.
On rare occasions, I do make typographical or clerical errors. If you believe there is a factual discrepancy, please notify me prior to the end of the auction for clarification.
