| DESCRIPTION | A beautiful and expertly painted oil painting of TWO LADIES SITTING ON A ROCK ON THE BEACH AND A DOG. Painted by listed South African artist MARITA MEYER. The painting is done on artist board (fine treated canvass on hardboard) and it is framed in a good quality gilt on wood frame with inner frame to display the artwork to it's best effect. The artist has signed the artwork at bottom left and she has also dated it 1995. The artwork measures 800 x 950 mm in the frame and the artwork alone measures 600 x 750 mm. A very well executed artwork with excellent composition, perspective and use of colour by an accomplished and well known South African artist. Painted in an impressionist style. Works of this artist have been sold at top art auctions and displayed in very reputable art galleries in this country.
