As an investment they represent the ideal, and if you are a serious gemstone collector, then this Suite is something very very special indeed. To my knowledge, HPJ currently have sole access (In South Africa) to these ultra rare, and astonishingly beautiful gemstones.
You will see from the photo of Tormiq Nala below that the mining of these remarkable Topaz's is somewhat hazardous to say the least!
They were cut in Abbottabad, Pakistan, to our instructions. The colour is totally unique, and utterly exquisite.
Northern Pakistan is composed of three lofty, snow-covered mountain ranges: Himalaya, Hindu Kush and Karakoram. These geomorphic features reflect the geological setting which, in many respects, is unique in the world.
TOPAZ CRYSTAL FROM TORMIQ NALA
These ranges were formed as result of two collisions between India and Asia that occurred between 100 and 50 Ma (million years) ago. These collisions have induced crustal thickening in these mountains.
