The XLamp XM-L2 LED from Cree delivers up to 20% more lumen than the original XM-L.  The XM-L2 LED offers the unique combination of high efficiency and high lumen output at high drive currents, delivering an unprecedented 1198 lumen at 116 lumen-per-watt efficiency at 3 A, 25°C.

This new design Light Bar features needle point lenses to ensure better throw characteristics.  Even spot specified light bars have a flood element which can over illuminate the foreground, effectively causing a driver to become night blind.  This durable, low profile light bar is specifically tailored for the rugged South African environment.  The light bar’s body is made from aluminium and finished with hard anodizing.  This not only protects the LEDs encased in it, but also serves as a heat-sink to ensure sufficient cooling.

This light bar is also equipped with fully adjustable mountings that enables one to slide the mount to any position on the length of the light.  It also allows 120 degrees of vertical movement.

A Cree XM-L2 LED in an array cannot in reality produce more than 900 lumen each without serious thermal regulation.  Believe such resellers at your own risk.
