In the 1880’s the Rev. Robert Earee did original research in the UK on forgeries of Postage stamps without knowing who did it and on which stamps. He was awarded with the highest award of the British Philatelic Federation in 1921 after he wrote the book “ALBUM WEEDS” mostly done on the work of the forger SPIRO.
In 1970 I bought a collection from the renowned old Cape Town Stamp dealer, the late C. GRABER, stated by him to be part of EAREE’s collection that was done around 1885 on pages watermarked “CAMBRIAN PARCHMENT” being manufactured by a wellknown WELSH firm with the famous “RED DRAGON”
I hereby offer one page from that collection on an “AS IS” basis for Bidorbuy bidders to decide if they want to bid on it (without any warranty, sorry!) to own a fine piece of philatelic history, most probably unique!
