This stamp was to prove authenticity of papers / documents and to co-inside with the head of that specific department's signature, that the item is authentic and this stamp was used in the same Era and was put through by the accompanying decision of President Verwoerd of that time. These stamps are supposed to be destroyed once it is no longer in use or the Act has been changes such as it has so this item should not exist.....
