ANTIQUE CLASSICAL SHEET MUSIC BOOKS
Chopin, Beethoven etc.
Good condition - from 1898 - 1912

The lot includes 4 books: Beethoven's sonatas volume 1 and 3, Chopin Etuden and 8 Famous Valses by Popular Composers.
All 4 books are in a good condition for their age. There appears to be no missing pages apart from a cover page or two.
Since they are over a hundred years old, expect some yellowing and staining as well as small tears etc. You will also find various pencil scribbles and notes over a hundred years old!
The Beethoven Sonatas volume 1 and 3 date back to at least 1898. There are no publisher's dates, but the owner scribbled his name and the date "March 1898" on the first page of one of the books.
The Chopin Etuden book also has no publisher date but the foreword is dated July 1912.
The Eight famous valses book is dated MCMVII - 1907. It is also by the same publisher as the other 3 books, Chappel &Co.
