Because this is an older card, I recommend only for use with a ds lite console. It is compatible with certain firmwares for others consoles, but much older firmware than what is out now.

How to use?
Step 1: Download the kernel from http://www.r4i3d.com/index.htm?c=gamekernel3 (the one for the flashcards labelled with 'new' on)
Step 2: Unzip and copy the files to the root of microSD.
Step 3: Copy the game files to the microSD, insert the microSD into R4i3D.
