I think my notes at the head of this page tell you all you need to know about this very impressive totally untreated Tanzanite. It really exudes quality, and the round cut makes it ideally suited for a very beautiful ring, which HPJ/Aristocracy would be honoured to design/make for the winning Bidder.
Tanzanite is the blue/purple variety of the mineral zoisite (a calcium aluminium hydroxy silicate) which was discovered in the Mererani Hills of Northern Tanzania in 1967, near the city of Arusha and Mount Kilimanjaro.
