A good pair of 18th century Georgian silver sugar tongs in the old English pattern made in London by William Sumner in 1796. The tongs measure 14.5cm long, weigh 34 grams and are in good condition. They are monogrammed GR. Good examples of 18th century silver are becoming increasingly scarce. There would be a worthy addition to any collection.
