The flagon is in very good condition and the only visible damage is a few chips to the spout.
It was used by AE & CI Ltd, a manufacturing chemical company based in Vereeniging. They still exist today.
The jug is stamped with the company name as well as "made in Vereeniging South Africa".
The lid or stopper is a screw in type and is also stamped Vereeniging.
The Flagon measures 39cm tall and has a diameter of 24cm. It is a large, heavy piece.
