White Topaz has been highly valued for many years. It is a striking stone that often has golden flecks or edges. The Ancient Egyptians referred to the white topaz as the “gem of the sun” and used it to invoke the protection of the sun god Ra.
HPJ ROUGH SPECIMEN FROM DEVILS HEAD
Transparent colorless topaz crystal from Devils Head with multi-faced parallel terminations. Most of the topaz faces have satin-like luster, but some of the termination faces are highly lustrous. The specimen is doubly-terminated, with small parallel faces on the bottom.
