ANTIQUE RABONE & SONS 200 FOOT TAPE MEASURE
Bakelite body with brass fittings and leather hand strap
Manufactured by Rabone & Sons in England, estimated 1940's.
The tape is in good and working condition with only a few minor marks on the bakelite body.
The markings on the tape itself are bright and clear and it unrolls al the way down to 200 feet.
Note that one of the cover screws is missing and the tape starts at 1 foot 1 inch - the first 1 foot 1 inch is missing.
It has a solid brass handle and fittings and a leather hand strap, still supple and not cracked.
It measures 22.5cm in diameter and about 30mm thick.
