THERE IS SOME "DAMAGE" ON THE BASE OF THE CLOCK, BUT IT IS ON THE BACK OF THE CLOCK WHERE IT WOULD BE AGAINST THE WALL. PLEASE NOTE THE BATTERY IS NOT INCLUDED.
