The rear of the stamps have descriptions. The descriptions do NOT marry up to the actual stamps. For example, the Mbalantu description is on the Damara Woman stamp and vice versa. Similalry, the San Woman description is on the back of the Herero woman. All the stamps are thus affected. A very nice Mint condition find

Descriptions:
MNH = Mint as purchased from post office. If any doubt - listed as not used
Unused or not used: Not cancelled. May have no gum and other minor changes from mint condition. May have been soaked and washed
Used: Cancelled. May have hinge marks, and minor cover remnants. Usually this indicated in the title of the auction. May be CTO - unless otherwise known will be listed as used

Hinged - has standard hinge on it
Heavy hinge - old, heavy strong hinge
Hinge marks as per light hinge
Foxing - age spots on paper
Brown spots - spots caused by mould
NG - no gum
Thinning - thinned paper usually from vigorous washing
Refund Policy: Refunds will be considered if, within 7 days of receipt of the stamps, the buyer notifies the seller that the item is not of the description as it was listed. Refunds will be then be processed within 21 days, and the item is to be returned to the seller.
Returns: Items that are posted or couriered and that are returned to the seller either through failing to collect, or incorrect address supplied to the seller - will be re-sent at the buyers cost.
