Very scarce. Difficult to find .......... Original.
Bullion wire on maroon felt.
This specific badge type is the UK manufactured badge that was supplied to SA Special Forces members. This specific badge is the real thing.
The other similar design on black felt was a prototype. Other similar designs on maroon felt representing this badge type, but with minor stitch errors were made by dealer`s for collector`s.
However. each genuine bullion wire badge will slightly differ in stitch size, because each badge was separately hand-stitched.
