Scarce Rocket Man. Vintage Hood Ornament / Mascot. I would think that the mascot would be from around the 1930's and was used on some Cadillacs, maybe other makes as well. Please, before placing your bid, have a good look at the 11 photos to see condition. The base attachment is slightly bent and off-centre. It would also appear as if half of the loop attachment piece has broken off. The mascot has some pit marks. I would presume that it was chromed at one stage which has worn off. The hood ornament is +- 140mm in length from head to toe and would stand about 80mm high when mounted. Due to the problems and backlog with SAPO, the buyer is to advise which method of consignment is preferred and at own cost and risk. Please allow enough time for the 11 photos to download.
