Hi! This depends mainly on the TV set and not the DVD (unless the DVD is region locked but this is rare and usually only if its a rental). If your TV set has Jack inputs either on the front or back panel, chances are 98% the set is multi zone and Region 1 will play. To confirm, you might want to consider renting a Region 1 DVD from your local video store.
