Vintage single draw copper and brass Heath Navigational Ltd ships telescope - c1900. This old item would have been used on ship to keep a watch out over the seas. It was manufactured by Heath Navigational Ltd in London, and is numbered S.E.9. It is 60cm long unextended, and 75cm extended. It is copper and brass with a leather sleeve. It has a copper cap on the front end to protect the lens. The telescope works perfectly, and is in good condition for its age - stiching has come loose on the sleeve, but still firmly attached. A great buy for the collector of vintage maritime items.
