ANTIQUE PFLUEGER NOBBY FISHING REEL
Great working condition - USA made baitcaster from the 1940's
Model 1963
This Pflueger Nobby Model 1963 baitcaster with level wind is the 5 screw model, so was manufactured after Pflueger resumed reel production in 1945, after the second word war.
It is in good, smooth working condition and cosmetically it looks great for a 60+ year old reel. A good service would however do no harm at all!
Everything appears to be original and there is no damage anywhere to speak of.
Like many of the early model baitcasters, this reel does not have a free spool feature. The handle and spool is permanently linked, so the handle spins with the spool during casting.
Will make a nice addition to a collection, or can even be used to actually fish with and I imagine it should work well for light tackle trolling!
