Zacharias Eloff, better known as Zakkie, as born in 1925 in the Waterberg District of Namibia.
Being a man of the veld, it was no surprise when Eloff started portraying his love for nature in his paintings.
Eloff’s paintings interpreted not only the stance, but also the movement of the animals he painted.
Zakkie Eloff passed away in 2004, etching his memory into the heart of many wildlife and art lovers.
