One of the rarest gemstones on BoB Golden Beryl originating in Brazil is relatively common, but the Indian Golden Beryl is not just very rare, it is also very very beautiful indeed. As one would expect, considering the geographical location of Ajmer, the colour of the Indian Beryl is quite different than that of its Brazilian counterpart - a beautiful burnished gold.
Yellow/Golden Beryl has small traces of iron. It is the natural aura that emanates from minerals with uranium that gives a colourless Beryl a somewhat intense yellow tone. This is the typical colour of the Golden or Yellow Beryl.
One of the most important gem families is Beryl. With a trace of chromium to bestow a fabulous green, Beryl becomes Emerald.
REVELATIONS 3: ISIS
The work has begun on Revelations 3 Isis. Unusual will be the fact that it will comprise of two pieces in 18k Yellow Gold.
Firstly, the magnificent ‘Isis Ring’, and secondly, a diamond encrusted 18k Yellow Gold Amulet, with a completely hand made 18k gold chain.
The Amulet will be the ‘Tjet’ – the sacred knot of Isis, and it will be engraved by a Master Engraver on the reverse with Her ancient heiroglyths.
The work is monumental, and we estimate a period of over 2 months will be needed to complete the Isis Suite.
