| DESCRIPTION | What you are bidding on is a 1958 Japanese YASHICA - C TWIN LENS REFLEX (TLR) CAMERA, complete with the leather case. The number (presumably the series number) stamped on the metal camera case is 5830764. The camera takes 120 film (which gives 12, 2.25 x 2.25 inch negatives) and was quite advanced for it's time with f3.5 - f22 lens openings and shutter speed of B and 1-1/300th second. The lenses are both Yashikor lenses f=80 mm and 1:3.5. One lens is for finding the view and the other one contains the shutter for picture taking. There are other unusual features such as the magnifying glass which can be used with the range finder if required. |
| CONDITION | I am always hesitant to describe something as mint, because a very fussy and fastidious buyer will probably find something that is not absolutely perfect - so I will describe the condition as NEAR MINT. Both the camera and case are in excellent condition and appear to have never been used. Everything also works perfectly. |
