The Long Tom was a French made 155mm siege gun / cannon used by the Transvaal (ZAR) Staatsartillerie during the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902. The four guns became famous after being used against the besieged British garrisons of Ladysmith, Mafeking and Kimberley.
