Book is in Afrikaans and published by Bure Uitgewers Cape Town in 1969. Photos taken by Cloete Breytenbach.  Hard cover with dust-jacket.  Condition:  Dust jacket is rubbed and worn.  Internally the book is clean and crisp and offers a beautiful pictorial meander in black and white and colour with maps, through vintage villages, farms and landscapes.  The accompanying texts have been written by several of South Africa's literary giants.

1ste Uitgawe; 1969; Buren Uitgewers; Kaapstad. Hardeband, stofomslag. pp. 239, ryklik geillustreer. Stofomslag toon tekens van slytasie,  andersins 'n baie goeie kopie. Bydraes deur Hennie Aucamp; Audrey Blignault; Etienne Leroux; Marthinus Versfeld en talle ander.

All about the people, the things, the houses, the estates, the villages in the Cape's wune districts. With photos, maps and illustrations.
