Miniature Sculptured Amethyst Buddha
This tiny gorgeous Buddha "the Awakened One" was hand carved by Burmese villagers near the Thailand border.
The purple amethyst gives the holy figure an ethereal glow.
Please note that the actual carving is far more attractive than I have been able to capture in the photograph!!
