Would you be willing to make the price R800, if you are then please let me know when you are planning to edit the auction price (date and time) I will go online at that time and buy it. This is a pretty useless Item without the remote as you know, seeing as you bought it in September 2009 also without a remote for R800. I have managed to sourch an original remote for this unit and they will ship it to me from Canada seeing as this is not a South African model. The remote and shipping and Admin will cost me R600, which is why I am offereing you R800 for it. Then you dont loose out on the deal and it costs me R1400 in total.

I am changing it to R1000 excluding shipping and it is for just the unit no remote or cables included. It is in working order and I have recorded and played back to TV.

Yes we can but it does not have a remote. It still records to hdd and plays back with hdmi cable. Maybe you can get a new remote or a programmable one.
